Lori Weeks (Pilkington) is a full-time artist who recently relocated from Little Rock in Central Arkansas to Gentry in Northwest Arkansas. In addition to Lori Weeks Art Studio/ Gallery, she is currently associated with popular galleries and shops in Central and Northwest Arkansas locations.

Lori is all about being creative. She was painting by the age of nine, studying under several professional instructors. She honed her artistic talent for graphic design and fine art at the Art Institute of Dallas and the Memphis College of Art. She is best known for her collection of impasto, impressionistic poppy paintings that incorporate unique color schemes and textures.

An Arkansas native, Lori spent her formative years at the lake in Heber Springs, where she enjoyed the outdoor pleasures that now find their way onto her canvasses. Her versatile artistic talents are expressed through her array of works featuring a variety of subject matter and painting techniques. Lori’s paintings are best known for their depth, bright, vivid colors, and thick textured paint that gives them life. She is also well known for her subdued paintings that represent images of life and bring calmness and peace to all who enjoy them.

Lori has a 20+ year career in creative services in advertising, where she held director positions at two of the largest advertising agencies in Arkansas.

Lori has been honored with numerous art awards and she continues to donate her services by painting live and providing art for organizations such as CARTI, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, The Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Arkansas Food Bank, 20th Century Club, Catholic High School for Boys, Christ the King and many more. She has displayed in the Governor’s Mansion and has appeared on KATV 7 Good Morning Arkansas and KTHV 11 This Morning.
